**Unofficial Impact Factors
For journals that have not yet been tracked by Thomson Reuters (ISI) for long enough to have an Impact Factor it is nonetheless possible to calculate an unofficial Impact Factor, which we have done for some journals.
Unofficial 2007 Impact Factors were established by dividing the number of times articles published in 2005 and 2006 were cited in 2007, based on a search of the Science Citation Index database, by the number of articles published in the previous two years (2005 and 2006).
*** The Journal Citation Report (JCR) currently lists an erroneously lower Impact Factor for Microbial Cell Factories. Thomson Reuters are currently investigating this matter and should update the official JCR listing soon.
