BMC Head & Face Medicine is calling for submissions to our Collection on Artificial Intelligence in Head & Face Medicine. This collection provides a platform for research at the intersection of Artificial Intelligence (AI) with Head and Face Medicine.
The collection welcomes contributions that explore innovative applications of AI techniques, especially deep learning, in areas such as computer vision, natural language processing and others, in various aspects of head and face medicine.
Overview of topics
- AI-supported diagnosis and prognosis
- personalised treatment planning
- surgical planning
- growth prediction
- AI-supported analysis of medical image data
Authors are invited to submit papers that present new methods, significant advances and practical implementations in this rapidly evolving field. The AI technology used should be described in a way that allows the results to be reproduced. When proposing new network architectures, the inclusion of source code as an appendix to the paper is strongly encouraged.
