Submission Status: Open   |   Submission Deadline: 30 April 2025

Cell Communication and Signaling is calling for submissions to our Collection on Cell State and Fate in Health and Disease. In this Collection, we aim to cover areas ranging from extracellular to intracellular signaling, inter-cellular communication, genetic and epigenetic control of cell state and fate, the role of metabolic plasticity and organelle dynamics to name a few in health and disease states.

About the Collection

This Collection will be dedicated to the diverse cellular processes and signaling mechanism(s) that their crosstalk in maintaining homeostasis as well as pathological implications of deregulation.

We aim to cover areas ranging from extracellular to intracellular signaling, inter-cellular communication, genetic and epigenetic control of cell state and fate, the role of metabolic plasticity and organelle dynamics to name a few in health and disease states.

Contributions will be solicited from invited speakers attending the annual Physiology Models of Health and Disease Symposium, scheduled to be held at YLL School of Medicine, National University of Singapore, Singapore on 26th and 27th September 2025, as well as open to submissions to the Collection via the journal website.  For the latter, the editors reserve the right to decide on the suitability of the submitted work to the Collection. We anticipate a good mixture of original research and review articles.

There are currently no articles in this collection.
